MACEDONIA IS THE SPANISH WORD FOR FRUIT SALAD. It is a word that has caused me confusion on numerous occasions since moving here, while buying yogurt or ordering dessert. Is it a fruit? Is it a flavor? Is it the cream?
Looking up the word today led me to a most scrumptious macedonia, the most scrumptious of them all. From last summer's Vogue España, a medley of fresh fruit and fine jewels; the glamor girl's perfect breakfast. Or after-dinner treat.
