AS MEALTIMES IN SPAIN ARE FAR LATER than they are in most parts of the world, birthday lunch for me took place far later than midday. 4pm found us at a quiet terrace in Passatge de la Concepció, the same little street in which we were to have dinner later that night. It is my favorite street in Barcelona after all.
Sunshine, mussels, shopping and chardonnay. Not your typical 7th birthday celebration but then again, I'm not your typical 7th birthday celebrant.
