That Art Athletic

OLYMPIC YEAR NEXT YEAR means I've got a birthday next year too!

Not familiar with Leap Year? Google it.

Originally held in Olympia, Greece from 8BC to 4AD, the games have grown to involve all sorts of competition not only between teams and athletes but also between cities, ceremonies, even ideologies, amongst others. Whatever happened to healthy competition?

Not one to be thoroughly interested in boycotts, bribery and other sorts of controversy, I turn to something more enjoyable. Here, some posters for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, created by 12 of UK's leading artists. Beginning at £390 and priced up to £950, the limited edition prints have price tags reflective of the games' host city: expensive.
