I WOULD NOT BE WHO I AM TODAY without Barbie in my childhood. She was my muse, my early access to fashion, my paragon for style and beauty. It's frustrating to grow up realizing that no, I have neither height, blond locks or big breasts. Neither is my face perfectly symmetric. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I only hope to be as beautiful to someone as Barbie was to my young eyes.
It is equally frustrating to know that a doll can own that many shoes! One billion pairs to be exact. So I only dream of owning at least one -yes one- pair of Louboutins in my lifetime.
Okay, maybe two.
Or ten.
