That Style Czarina and Other Stories

CORE TO WHAT HAS BEEN DUBBED THE "RUSSIAN FASHION PACK", Vika Gazinskaya has, for nearly a decade now, taken street style blogs by storm with her sculptural, whimsical aesthetic. Previously a L'Officiel intern-turned-freelance-stylist, the blunt-bobbed beauty launched her own label in Moscow in 2006. It was not until 2009 though, when she started wearing her own designs to Paris shows, that Vika began attracting the attention deserved by her distinctive brand. As street snaps of her outfits circulated a world wide web of proliferating fans, the designer showed collection after collection of fresh, fine looks that proved fresher and finer each time.

This month, fanatics such as myself gain access to Vika's artful creations, with a capsule collection collab with & Other Stories. The designer's signature voluminous skirts and off-shouldered tent tops, graced with her equally characteristic colored pencil patterns, hit shelves May 15 at & Other Stories shops in Europe, with a preview presentation at Colette on May 5.

I've got my sights set on some tailored dresses and a modernly monastic trench. What better excuse for heading over to Colette?
