That Sneaker Sleeker

I FIRST SPOTTED THEM worn by one of our real estate agents back in February. She was tall, lean, French and so very likeable with her warm demeanor and cool style, consisting of colorful chandelier earrings dangled down to leather-jacketed shoulders, helmet on hand, then down below, the super chic sneakers!

I didn't get to ask her where they were from. Between being jet-lagged and having looked at so far 15 apartments for that day, my interactions with her were mainly of her chatting me up while I admired her accessories. We didn't end up getting any of the units she showed either, though she did leave me with a lasting impression, particularly for a footwear style not commonly in my scope of interest. Or at all in my wardrobe.

In my lifetime, I've owned a total of about 10 pairs of sneakers. And half of them were because they were required in P.E. Recent styles however, have me rethinking my sentiments towards the comfy, sporty shoe, especially the trendy wedged ones made friendlier for those of us needing vertical enhancement.

From elegant to futuristic to 80's retro, the new, extra-fashionable sneaker may finally be sneaking into my closet. Or not. Or maybe. Or I'll think about it.

Why have I only seen this now? I love this post! Perfect for me...

Now time to save up for the Lanvin, Chloe and the Burberry. I'd be dressed to impress with the HK'ies.

Yeah. Right.
