AS ANGRY BIRDS RIO takes over my boyfriend's 2-day downtime, so do the sounds of monkeys laughing, taunting, falling off of wooden scaffolds or flying off against a cartoonified Rio beach take over the house.
Then over at the appliance store, I find myself mesmerized by a loop video of monkeys in a heated pool somewhere in Japan. Strange. But I thought, I want one! A baby monkey to terrorize our home, trick the helper, pet the pets and play with my makeup.
Maybe not.
Kitty will have to do.
