NOT SURE WHETHER IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD IT AT BREAKFAST or because I've never actually tasted pink pepper before that made the chocolates taste so unbelievably strange. Perfectly dark chocolate and then suddenly, wait, what's this? Did I just eat something Thai?
Our gracious and thoughtful friend Chin brought the artisan chocolates back for us -thank you for the goodies!- from her recent trip. Amongst earl grey, coffee bean, pink pepper and pepper-cocoa bean, I thought I'd be the most adventurous in picking the least familiar of the bunch. After all, I am in fact a fan and lover of spicy chocolate. At least the chili chocolate type.
But peppery chocolate, the first-pick-berry type and not the black-peppercorn-we-have-in-our-spice-rack type, I think I still have yet to acquire a taste for it.
After how many trips to the fridge, I think I'm really starting to.

Aww I'm glad you're starting to enjoy it Lads! :) It sounds like a far cry from the usual nut/fruit and choco combo. Sneak off a piece from Karlo's, Heehee :)
Yummy, yummy! Thanks for sharing!
