CONSIDERED A FOUNDING FATHER OF ART DECO, it is a great shame that very little is known of Georges Barbier. It is an even greater shame that his undeniably fabulous work has been kept in obscurity.
Case in point: I spent all of my Sunday afternoon searching for these images online.
He may have been, as I would imagine, the Jordi Labanda of his time.
