THEY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN MADE TO BE WORN ON EASTER SUNDAY but they may just be the cutest thing to happen to your egg-hunting outfit. No corsets or fishnets please.
The black pearl headband is currently item of the week at style.com, and is Benoit Missolin's most expensive piece in the "ears" category. At EUR270, it's not your average costume accessory, and neither are the other headpieces; caps, headbands and well, ears, available in his online boutique.
Missolin's ears have crowned the heads of various top models -including Naomi's- and have been featured in top magazines from Italy to Japan. If that's not enough reason to splurge on a pair, it might help to know that this particular headpiece designer apprenticed to Christian Lacroix and Thierry Mugler.
That said, these headbands, however adorable and surprisingly available for delivery to the Philippines, will unfortunately not be finding their way into my basket. Maybe yours?
