That Lovely Leura

ON OUR RECENT VACATION, WE HAD AMPLE TIME TO DRIVE OUT AND EXPLORE PLACES OUTSIDE SYDNEY. One of which was the little town of Leura up in the Blue Mountains.

Leura is just delightful. Old and quaint and charming, with a lot of antiquated buildings, precious little gift shops, stationery shops and cafes, vintage art and homeware stores and casual flea markets.

There were so many things I wanted to buy but they were either beyond my allotted budget or would have been beyond our baggage allowance.

I did, however, find these wonderful sets which Jaime bought for me: a set of blank notecards with my initial and a set of coasters to match our dining room wall mural.

Each one of the cards, as well as the case, are all "flocked" with raised black details that feel like felt. Beautiful. I never want to use them.

The coasters are a bit worn out as they were the last set in stock and had been on display but both Jaime and I liked them so we got them anyway.

Pretty little things from a pretty little place. If you ever get the chance to, do take a day trip to Leura. I'm sure you'll find something to buy and keep.
