Those Kills and Kisses

FIVE DECADES OF BOND GIRLS, iconic despite their defacement.

Part two of visual artist Arina Orlova's Kills and Kisses Project features thirty images of 007 screen sirens, all set against gold and robed in red if they died onscreen. The project explores the evolving desirability of women, as presented through fifty years of Bond films, as well as their disposability as characters, temporary and numerous in ratio to a single male protagonist.

Visit the site to see the full project, whose first part consisting of the 6 Bond leads, offers a visual experience just as ritzy, glitzy, iconic and insightful as part two.
