COMPRISING GREEK BRAND NATARGEORGIOU are Dimos Natar and Andreas Georgiou: two Cypriots who, within just two years since founding their label, have quickly made magical, mythical waves in Paris and Milan fashion weeks with their first two completed collections for summer and winter, respectively.
The current campaign, however fanciful with its avian artwork superimposed on muses in rough terrain, contrasts greatly with the highly architectural quality the clothes posses, strewn with strips in uneven lengths, spun with pieces in web-like formations and sliced at angles both contradictory and complementary to the female form.
While nowadays any table chatter about Greece unavoidably becomes table chatter about economic crisis, it's nice to know that Greece isn't entirely in a creativity crisis too.
Natargeorgiou collections can be found in Manama, Dubai, Salmiya, Beirut, Dora, Riyadh, California and in the designers' own home land, in Nicosia and Mykonos.
