7 YEARS TODAY, THE SEVENTH OF JULY. I was on my third year of college when we met and he was a strapping youth himself, of only 25.
It's not easy to recall on cue, and it's especially not easy to recount, details from the past seven years. Those things, they're better done extemporaneously. But there are details that remain present in my mind, through the natural lows and highs of the years gone by. Some we've outgrown, some have grown and some have outgrown the others. Must they be so stinky too?
